I opened a new santander everyday account last week after seeing the £30 amazon offer just for opening (no switch required). Just opened my santander banking app and got a message saying 'allow santander to make and manage phone calls' and 'allow santander to know the location of nearby devices' this is so they can protect you from spam phone calls using 'san protect' has anybody else had this? I am finding they have made changes to their login process at some point in january which make things a lot more hassle My wife and i would both use the same computer to check online banking (both santander c/a), she doesn't have the santander app on her phone either
