The wilwood kit is considerable cheaper from precision brakes company compared to ssbc As you can see, this rotor has some strange pitting, but the rotor on the other side is fine. The entire wilwood kit with 4 piston superlite calipers on the front and 4 piston dynolite calipers in the rear, drilled/slotted/2 piece rotors (13” f, 12” r), hv master, proportioning valve, hardware, ss lines, etc

Per my post (#10) above, the wheel cylinders require more volume for actuation than the wilwood fnsl4r calipers with either 1.98 or 2.46 square inches of effective piston area, so your pedal should improve slightly with the conversion to disc.

I have 18 wheels so anything will fit
My biggest problem is that i don't know how much/if any track time the car will see. Installed wilwood big brake kit about 6 months ago and have always had a honing sound as you come to a stop Let off or push harder and sound goes away, just drives me nuts and it just shouldn't be there Distances to some cruises and noticed that by the time i get there, the brakes are dragging and the noise is more constant

Heat will be an issue Not even sure the 13 brakes will fit. I installed a wilwood tandem master cylinder along with c6 z06 brakes and a hydroboost on my car I retained the stock combination valve, but i gutted it to eliminate the proportioning function (i installed an adjustable wilwood valve downstream of the combo valve to reduce pressure to the rear).
The c5/c6 front and rear rotors actually tend to be heavier than the corresponding wilwood kits, mostly due to their thickness, 32mm [1.26] up front and 26mm [1.02] in the rear. Finally gave up trying to bleed my rear brakes and took it to the shop I've got a wilwood master, wilwood calipers on all 4 corners , a booster and an adjustable valve in the rear line The shop tells me that the rear brakes portion of the master cylinder isnt supplying pressurized fluid
They recommending getting a new master
Not much to go on, but has anybody else had problems with their. These are the rear disc brakes on my 64 savoy that i bought last summer Checking through the wilwood website, they are listed as lightweight race brakes
