I've used vegas 17 and idm from them (around the exact same time) and it made my windows defender exclusions blank but it definitely made an exclusion for something considering when i'd run a defender scan it would say skipped some items. Idk how to do malware analysis tho, so it's just a guess. I tried the latest 6.39 build 2 from crackingpatching but defender detected ransom/crypmod in it's crack so i decided to uninstall it and scan my pc for any potential threats Anyone knows any other versions from some uploaders which doesn't have any such threats? I got one that shows ads randomly on my desktop for their site and suspicious remove ads icon which leads to some site probably downloading more malware Problem is that i can not trust even the sites that supposedly offer a program to remove it

I clicked on crackingpatching.com and proceeded to download the file I was also following a video from youtube The idm 64bit patch.exe was alerted by defender as soon as i extracted it so i went to virustotal and saw alot of detections
